Inside the United States, CDMA Cellular Technology is offered by Sprint and Verizon / Alltel. Verizon offers support for Fax Machines, Sprint offers eFax only, where a document is attached to eMail. We also have Terminals from the USA and Israel & Czech which are GSM or CDMA (FCC Approved). See Cellular Portable Fax (dot com)
If you are outside the USA, CDMA 800/1900mhz is supported by Terminals from Israel, USA, China & Romania. (Please contact our Live Operator, IM, eMail or Call us, to find the Cellular Service Provider for your Country, outside USA and the Cell Services their Switch supports-from Caller ID & Text-SMS to interfaces for Credit Card Readers and Fax Machines)
For Verizon & Alltel (USA), the gateway is a little Terminal (Retail $695, Your Cost $579), with a phone jack (called RJ11) for your Fax or our MiniFax $89.95 by Panasonic. So for Faxing, you will need two (2) products-the CDMA Terminal (black box pictured below) and a regular Fax.
Verizon offers a voice line, like any Cell account, with a service called CSD, for free (which allows fax tones through digital circuits so the two machines can "handshake" or connect at a certain speed).There is a slight Data Charge, $10 for 70mb (A 2-page fax is about 70kb) so lots of faxes for little $
You can connect up to five (5) devices up to the Phonecell SX including a phone, speakerphone, conference phone, voice dialer (alarm), answering machine, small pbx, or a cordless, local or long range.

GSM (with a tiny Cell Terminal $369, $399 or $499 or tiny Cell Fax called Greta $899) technology provides Analogue Fax support in the USA via T-Mobile. Worldwide, hundreds of GSM providers offer CSD, for Analogue Fax. You get a separate Phone & Fax Cell number with GSM, but it is $10 a mo.(in USA) CDMA for Faxing (in USA via Verizon) costs no more than a regular voice call, but you do not get a separate fax number, if you care :)
Our little terminal is 800/1900mhz (USA & Canada frequency for CDMA), can be pre-programmed with your phone number, or you can do it when it arrives. Verizon will need the ESN from the box which you "trade" for your new phone number. If you already have a cell number, you can opt to switch it to the Terminal and de-activate the handheld cell.
