Intelli-FLEX is a unique strain sensitive intrusion detection system for outdoor, fence-mounted perimeter security applications. Utilizing signals generated by the minute flexing of a proprietary coaxial sensor cable, specific characteristic intrusion signatures are analyzed and detected by a powerful micro-computer based signal processor. In applications where Intelli-FLEX is installed on a chain link or weld mesh fence, it will detect an intruder attempting to cut through, climb over or raise the fence fabric.

Installation is quick and simple. The Intelli-FLEX signal processor can monitor two independent zones each containing up to 1,000 feet (300 meters) of sensor cable. Inexpensive U.V. resistant tie wraps secure the sensor cable to the fence at 1.0 foot (30 cm) intervals.

The Intelli-FLEX signal processor contains a microprocessor that enables the user to set the parameters for each zone of the detection system using a simple plug-in Programming Module. Since the coaxial sensor cable is microphonic, an optional plug-in audio module enables the user to "listen-in" to the fence activity. This feature provides an additional low cost tool for assessing the nature of the intrusion attempt. 

Intelli-FLEX's unique signal processing incorporates an ingenious set of non-volatile programs called Adaptive Algorithms™ This adjustable firmware allows features such as Ambient Compensation and Common Mode Rejection to interpret the nature of the disturbance, virtually eliminating alarms from natural or environmental events. An optional weather sensor is available to provide each signal processor with independent verification of the current weather conditions within each zone. Intelli-FLEX will adapt to these conditions without sacrificing detection sensitivity.

The Intelli-FLEX signal processor is available with either an output relay interface or built-in multiplex circuit interface to a variety of alarm monitoring systems.
