GPRS Modem.(one from 2N, which is normal sized. Prices close to Easygate). NEW unit is called "SAMBA" and we have "issues" with its' design and implimentation and bugs. BUT, it is unique. A gprs, gsm, Fax, Voice, Data device-size and look of memory stick-with SIM insert and GUI Notebook PC interface software (which rings like a phone on the PC) which looks like a phone called "Wellphone". www.wellphone.com   Source: Germany

The FALCOM SAMBA GSM / GPRS modem

is a plug'n'play  device in extremely small size, which provides a powerful state-of the art technology and makes it almost perfect for a quick and easy way to plug in GSM or GPRS functionality into your systems. The embedded USB interface allows direct connections to a USB serial port of desktop or notebook computers.

The SAMBA can send and receive data by GSM and GPRS. It features GPRS multislot class 10 and supports the GPRS coding schemes CS-1, CS-2, CS-3 and CS-4. It supports voice, SMS, FAX as well as offers a choice of seven ring tones/melodies. The SAMBA modem can be easily controlled by using AT commands for all kind of operation.

Interfaces and Terminals (1 SIM)

1.  "EASYGATE", (Prague, Czech)-1 line (1 SIM) with Least Cost Routing software to direct the call from the WIRELESS TO WIRELESS network, when connected to the PBX. Also, for the small home/office, with 1 line from  your local PSTN Wired Telecom, the 2nd can be his mobile number. It is Voice, Data (gprs hi speed) and PC Fax.
Attach a 2-line phone and "line 1" is for WIRED and "line 2" is for WIRELESS. The pdf is here: www.hightechnologyintl.com/easygate.pdf

EXAMPLE: Connect [2-line Telephone---> {line #1 plug into wall for PAK Telecom}---->{line #2 plug into back of "Easygate", "Plugcell" "Ericsson 221"} and consider "line 1" the "wireline" and consider "line 2", "wireless".

2. "PLUGCELL"-Another version is when you use your own phone. Insert it into the holder, there is a phone jack on the back. Another way to use your mobile with regular phones or your pbx. Webpage is here: www.hightechnologyintl.com/plugcell.html

3. "Ericsson 221"-Last idea for a 1-line box is from Ericsson, (Sweden) which is the only unit with Voice, Data (gprs hi-speed) & Fax (including a regular fax machine connected). www.hightechnologyintl.com/f221m.pdf

Multiline Gateway (8 sim to 8x32)

This is just a big name for saying "Multi-SIM" box. These units are selling alot, worldwide. Reason? Saving money on telephone calls, both wireless and international, extra lines replacing traditional government wired service (Local PSTN Telecom). They can be 8 line (SIM) analog, to save initial expense (for those just wanting extra lines) or even better, Least Cost Routing and VoIP using the more sophisticated 8/16/32 line (Channel).

Each channel can hold 8 SIM, so use the best SIM at the best time. Maybe 1 SIM has a special deal for "Nightime Calling", or "Weekend Calling". The software (included) can control which SIM to use at what time/day.
So, the biggest system holds 8 (SIM) x 16 (CARDS) x 2 (Channels per Card) or 32 x 8 SIM. ONLY 30 can work at 1 time for 30 calls live.

These boxes are for:

PBX Interface (large client phone systems, like Hotels, Hospitals, Government Agencies...)

VoIP (running calls and international calls through the Internet/E1 connection-
 {Cisco Router  ---> Quintum Channel Bank---> 2N Gateway}

SMS Broadcast-Direct to mobile, as a service, or from Microsoft "Outloook" Software.

Best link for this product line is here: www.thehightechstore.com/ateusstargate.pdf

Smaller needs are covered here. ( 8 Lines/ SIM)

8 Channel (8 GSM Line) Omikron by 2N (Prague). www.thehightechstore.com/omikron.html
8 GSM & 8 PSTN (outside lines) & 8 (inside lines/extensions) for regular PSTN RJ11 Standard Telephones/Speakerphones or PBX (both of which we sell, of course).

Wireless Desktop Speakerphone-Latest from Siemens (Germany) allows SIM insertion, easily. It powers @ 2-watt for 900mhz and 1 watt for 1800mhz so it is 2x to 4x more powerful than the handheld portable mobile set. This is great in the home/office or commercial office, where the signal may be bad. Prices have gone from $450 wholesale, down to $175+. There is also an interface for a dialer to send an SMS if someone comes into your office and the motion detector is activated. You can call the phone and "turn on" and "turn off" devices attached, like lights, or power (like turning off your pc). www.thehightechstore.com/siemensdesktop.html

As usual, we try to connect you directly to the manufacturer, distributor or wholesaler who is closest to you, best able to provide "after-sale support", tech support and training, as needed. Price and delivery schedule also figure into the equation, greatly.

We do consider all suggestions, advice and connections, proprietary, of course. If contact is desired direct to the Sales Director of any firm mentioned, that can be immediatley arranged by email and tele-conference. In most cases, we have established close "Agency" relationships which we hope you will take advantage of, remembering our efforts must be compensated.

All the best,
